In part one we reviewed the brief yet rich history of the Calexit movement and the many personalities of varying political affiliation which have gotten behind the movement. Now, in looking at the various policies which an independent California Republic could pursue we need look no further than some of the groups which exist to seek Californian independence, many discussed in the aforementioned piece, and which cover a wide range of the political spectrum.

Calexit Part One: A Movement from the Past?
Calexit, a portmanteau for California Exit, describes the possible secession of the State of California from the United States of America and its establishment, or reestablishment, depending on your view of history, as an independent and sovereign state. The movement in its modern form may seem, to those unfamiliar with the very unique history of the state, as something that has arisen from nowhere. A movement inspired only by the context of the modern political environment and something which may fade when the political winds blowing out of Washington D.C. change, particularly if a Democrat coalition comes to power. Biden’s address after the double suicide attack by ISIS-Khorasan (a probable CIA psyop asset) in Kabul was interesting for a lot of reasons. Despite being surprisingly lucid, he let slip that he had been instructed as to which journalists to call on. There also seems to be a war between establishment factions about whether we should stay in or leave Afghanistan, as evinced by how the media has been treating the Kabul debacle — combined with the fact that a CIA asset was used to sabotage the withdrawal.

The Greater Idaho movement promises many benefits, and particularly to white Americans. In this article we will explore what the State of Greater Idaho would bring to its new residents, and what challenges this project faces.
Greater Idaho’s Conception:
The official website of the Greater Idaho movement states “In 2019, supporters of joining Idaho who live in eastern Oregon interacted online with State of Jefferson proponents in southern Oregon.” The State of Jefferson is a movement which has long sought to extricate the counties of Northern California and southern Oregon, which are overwhelmingly white and conservative in character, from their current states and to form a new state by the name of Jefferson.
